JV baseball team tops Williamson.
 

The Wellsboro JV baseball team picked up their first win of the 2012 season as they defeated Williamson, 9-2. Junior Dan Saniga threw a complete game, giving up two runs, one earned. He was dominant throughout the game, allowing only three hits, two walks while striking out seven Williamson batters.

Wellsboro used a well-balanced offensive attack led by Cody DeHaas contributing a single and a triple. Brian Doty and Nate Harding contributed two hits a piece, scoring two runs.

With the win, the Hornets improve to 1-1 on the season. The team will be back in action on Saturday, April 14, as they travel to Wyalusing to take on the Rams.
