JV baseball drops double header to NEB.
 

The Wellsboro JV baseball team dropped their two openers Saturday at Northeast Bradford.

The first game ended with a score of 8-0. Freshman Anthony Cooper threw four innings for the Hornets, giving up 5 earned runs. Sophomore Nick Levindoski and Cooper provided the only hits for the game.

The second game ended with a score of 29-4. The game entered the 5th inning with a score of 12-4 when the Hornet defense imploded, giving up 17 runs in the inning. The runs came on the heals of 5 walks, two hits batsmen and five errors. Offensively, Freshmen James Mundy and Sam Moss provided doubles, with RBI's from Sophomore Dylan Widows (2), Levindoski and Sophomore Tanner Swan.

The JV squad will be back in action Tuesday, April 9 at home against Mansfield.
