Prough drives in winning run to beat Canton.

Junior Dylan Prough had a game-winning single to score Senior Ben Shaw to hand Canton their only NTL West loss on the season, with a 7-6 win.

The Hornets found a 6-3 lea slip away as Canton scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game, but the Hornets answered back for the win. In the seventh inning, Shaw reached second base on an error and Junior Brian Doty was intentionally walked before Prough drove in Shaw with the go-ahead run on a single.

Senior Matt Reese went 3-3 at the plate and scored 3 runs, Freshman Dawson Prough hit 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI's, and Senior Connor Coolidge and Junior Brandon Owlett each had a hit.

Reese pitched a complete game and struck out 6 Warriors on the way to his 3rd win of the season. With the win, the Hornets improve to 13-3 (6-2 NTL West). The team will be back in action on Saturday, May 18 as they will participate in a tournament at Montoursville.
