Hornet baseball shut out by South Williamsport.
 

The Wellsboro Varsity Baseball team was shut out 10-0 by South Williamsport in their final regular season game on Friday, May 15.

The Hornets struggled during the course of the game as they stranded nine base runners. Senior Nick Levindoski, Junior Joe Allen, and Freshman Johnny Rowland all had hits on the night for Wellsboro.

Junior James Mundy started on the mound and pitched five innings, allowing six runs on nine hits. Freshman Dalton Prough came on in relief for the final inning.

With the loss, the Hornets end the regular season at 12-8. The team will await their opponent for District IV playoffs next week.
