2015 Team Headlines
As the 2015 sports season starts, the Wellsboro Hornets Sports Booster Club has more information about their annual Swarm the Hive event.
The event starts on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 6:00 p.m in the high school parking lot. The Booster Club will provide hot dogs, drinks, cups, silverware, and plates. The Club asks that Freshmen provide chips, Sophomores bring deserts, and Juniors bring salads.
In addition to food, the Booster Club will have a dunk tank for guests to dunk members of the Wellsboro coaching staff, raffels for a chance to pie a coach, and other prizes. The Booster Club will also be handing Lettermen's jackets.
The Booster Club wants to remind our athletes that this event is not just a kick-off for fall sports, but to recognize all of our athletes from all sports and all seasons. During the event the Club will do a quick shout out to each sport in order to recognize and cheer them on. The Wellsboro cheerleaders and marching band will also be at the Swarm.
