5 Hornets named to All-Region baseball team.
 

5 members of the Wellsboro Varsity Baseball team were named to the Towanda Daily Review's All-Region baseball team on Thursday, June 23.

Senior Dawson Prough and sophomore Dalton Prough were both first team selections, as they were the top two hitters on this year's team. Dawson was 33-for-63 (.524) with 14 doubles, 2 triples, and 19 RBI's, while younger brother Dalton was 27-for-67 (.403) with a double and 8 RBI's.

Senior Nick Tremper, 20-for-67 (.299) with 27 RBI's and 84 putouts from his catcher position, and sophomore Johnny Rowland, 18-for-61 (.295) and 3-for-3 in 6 starts pitching for the Hornets, were both second team selections, while freshman Cam Tennis was named to the All-Rookie team.

WellsboroAthletics.com would like to congratulate Dawson, Dalton, Nick, Johnny, and Cam on their selections, and thank them for all their hard work and dedication during the year.
