Junior High Hornets split with Mansfield, Wyalusing.
 

The Wellsboro Junior High Baseball and Softball teams split a pair of games with North Penn-Mansfield and Wyalusing on Saturday, April 9.

The softball team dropped both games. They lost 11-6 to North Penn-Liberty and 19-10 to Wyalusing.

The baseball team won both games, beating Mansfield 17-0 and Wyalusing 18-5.

Against Mansfield Marek Mascho and Max Mascho were both 2-for-3 at the plate. Cameron Owlett was 2-for-4 while Dylan Copp, Drayden McGee, Chace Priset, and Evan Parshall all added hits. Owlett (2), Gavyn Jelliff (3), Copp, Marek Mascho (2), McGee (3), Max Mascho (2), Ethan Keane, Priset, Luke Rothermel, and Coen Tennis all added runs.

Marek Mascho also drove in 4 runs with Owlett adding 3 RBIs.

Against Wyalusing McGee went 3-for-4 with a double, Marek Mascho and Owlett were both 2-for-4 and scored 3 runs each, and Copp, Max Mascho, Priset, and Tennis added hits. Jacob Smith, Izaya Campbell, Syler Pietrzyk (2), Copp, McGee (2), Max Mascho, Priset, Cooper Jones, Tennis, and Hayden Stevens all crossed home plate.

The Baseball team hosts Bucktail Wednesday, April 13. Both teams are back for NTL games on Tuesday, April 19 at Towanda.
