2012 Athens vs. Northeast Bradford BaseballATHENS - The Wildcats kept their postseason hopes alive, rallying for a 9-6 victory over Northeast Bradford in NTL East baseball action on Wednesday.

The Panthers took a 5-4 lead in the top of the fourth inning, but the Wildcats exploded for five runs in the bottom half of the inning to get the victory.

Mike Estes scored a run and had an RBI in the game and Adam McCauley had a stolen base and an RBI for the Wildcats.

Chris Pack scored two runs and stole two bases and Curt Moore had a pair of hits, with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.

Craig Moore had an RBI and a run scored and Troy Stivason had a three-run double that broke the game open in the fourth inning.

Shane Bradley had a run scored in the game and Jarett Priester scored two runs and stole a base.

Curt Moore started and worked 3 2/3 innings, striking out three and Craig Moore finished the game, striking out four in 3 1/3 innings.

James Zajac started for the Panthers, working four innings, with one strikeout and Bill Frankling struck out one in one inning and Andy Seeley worked one inning.

Aaron Pifer scored a pair of runs for the Panthers in the game and Ben Abell had a hit for Northeast Bradford.

Zajac had a stolen base and scored a run and Brett Goodwin had a two-run home run, a single, two runs scored, a stolen base and three RBI in the game.

Dylan Chapman had three hits, with a double and Jake Hottle had a double and he scored a run in the game, while driving in a run.

Sullivan County 8, Millville 2

The Griffins improved to 11-8 on the year with the victory Wednesday.

Barry Heinrich had a hit, three RBI and he scored two runs and Kelby Mullen had a hit, a run scored and two RBI.

Zach Meyer had a hit in the game and Connor Wylie had two hits, a double, an RBI and a run scored.

Tom Blasi had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored and Forrest Jordan scored a run, while Tim Kramer had a hit.

Jordan worked three innings on the mound, striking out two, walking one and allowing two hits and two runs, both earned.

Meyer worked four innings of relief, striking out six, walking one and allowing one hit and one unearned run.

The Griffins finish the regular season on Saturday at Millville.
