2012 Canton vs. Bucktail BaseballCANTON - The Warriors came away with a 14-0 win in five innings over Bucktail in baseball action on Wednesday night.

Derek Wilcox started on the mound, working three innings. He allowed one hit, while stirking out five.

John Bowman pitched a perfect inning in relief, with two strikeouts.

Wilcox had a double and scored a run and Emmett Watson had two hits, and scored three runs. Scott Rockwell had two hits, a double, two RBI and two runs scored and Ben Pepper had two hits, with a double, and two runs scored.

Ryan Ball had a hit and scored two runs and Chase Pepper had an RBI and scored two runs. Garrett Wesneski had two hits, with a double, and a run scored and Kyle Landis had an RBI double, while Tanner Machmer had a hit and scored a run.

Canton hosts St. John Neumann on Saturday.

Montgomery 5, Sullivan County 2

The Griffins trailed 3-0 after two and cut the deficit to 3-2 in the fourth, before Montgomery scored two in the fifth to seal the win.

Zach Meyer pitched a complete game, striking out three, walking one and allowing five hits and five runs, three earned.

Shawn Flannery had two hits, and an RBI, and Lucas Hatton had two hits for the Griffins. Kelby Mullen had a double and an RBI and Barry Heinrich had a hit and scored a run.

Forrest Jordan and Tom Blasi each had hits and Tim Kramer scored a run.

Sullivan County is 0-1 on the year and they travel to Southern Columbia on Friday.
