Canton holds off St. John Neumann.

The Warriors held off a seventh inning St. John Neumann rally to pick up their second win of the season 11-7 in baseball action Saturday.

Canton led 2-0 after the second inning but in the top of the third Neumann scored four runs to take the lead. Canton rallied with four runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning to go up 6-4.

Canton added five runs in the fifth to make it an 11-4 advantage. Neumann scored three in the final inning but couldn't get any closer.

Ryan Ball was 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Canton with two doubles, three RBI and three runs scored. Garrett Wesneski was 2-for-3 with a run and RBI while Chase Pepper finished 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored.

Scott Rockwell had a double and sacrifice fly for an RBI while Wes Moore and Kyle Landis also had hits. Moore added two RBI and three runs while Landis also scored once.

On the mound Ben Pepper got the win in relief of Rockwell. Pepper pitched seven innings for six strike-outs while allowing no runs.

Rockwell went the first three innings, allowing four runs with just one earned.

Canton will host Muncy Thursday.
