Towanda's Ripic highlights NTL baseball All-Stars.

2012 NTL East All-Star Baseball SelectionsTowanda's Zack Ripic was named the NTL East baseball Player of the Year.

The senior batted .508 this season with six home runs, 26-RBI, eight doubles, 26 runs scored and 11 stolen bases. From the mound Ripic pitched 27 1/3-innings with a 2.30 ERA with 38 strikeouts.

Wyalusing's Logan Hitchcock was named the Pitcher of the Year.

Hitchcock had a 2.63 ERA in going 4-0 on the year with one save. He struck out 28 batters on the season.

Canton's Derek Wesneski was named the Rookie of the Year. The sophomore went 4-1 on the year from the mound while sporting a .515 average from the plate with 24-RBI.

Wyalusing was named the Coaching Staff of the Year.

The First Team consists of Ripic, Hitchcock, Wesneski, Wyalusing's Joey Champluvier and Andrew Pickett; Sayre's Nick Skerpon, Alex Lyons and Joe Kozemko; Towanda's Mason Roof, Casey Huff and Austin Markel; Canton's Scott Rockwell and Athens' Curt Moore.

Champluvier had a .407 average on the season with 20-RBI while Pickett went 3-1 from the mound with a 2.60 ERA with 36 strikeouts.

Skerpon had a .550 average on the season with 13 doubles while Lyons batted .509 and Kozemko hit .407.

Roof went 5-3 on the year as a starter pitching 47 1/3-innings with a 2.07 ERA. He struck out 73 batters on the season.

Huff had a .366 average on the year with 12 stolen bases and 21 runs scored while Markel had a .327 average with six doubles.

Rockwell batted .435 on the season with 25 runs scored and 16 stolen bases. He also went 1-0 as a pitcher with two saves.

Moore had a .397 average with 16 runs scored.

The Second Team consists of Canton's Ryan Ball, Chase Pepper, Ben Pepper and Emmett Watson; Sayre's Jared Dononvan and Nate Williams; Athens' Troy Stivason and Chris Pack; Northeast Bradford's Brett Goodwin and James Zajac, Towanda's Grady Robinson and Wyalusing's Cody Pickett.

Ball had a .385 average with 12 RBI while Chase Pepper batted .268 with 18-RBI. Ben Pepper had a .352 average with 17 runs scored and went 3-2 from the mound on the season with one save while Watson sported a .302 average.

Donovan batted .388 on the season while Williams sported a .381 average.

Stivason had a .312 average on the season with 16 stolen bases while Pack batted .283 with 13 runs scored.

Goodwin had a .366 average on the year with 13 stolen bases while Zajac batted .333 while sporting a perfect 17-for-17 on stolen bases this season.

Robinson had a .340 average with 12-RBI while Pickett batted .327 on the season.

The Honorable Mention consists of Athens' Craig Moore; Wyalusing's Kyle Tinna, Kye Novak and Chad Johnson; NEB's Aaron Pifer, Sayre's Kody Ketter; Towanda's Brandon Dinelli and Nick Place and Canton's Derek Wilcox.
