Troy, Sullivan County baseball get wins.

2013 Troy vs. Northeast Bradford BaseballEAST TROY - Darton Harwick picked up his first varsity victory as the Troy Trojans defeated Northeast Bradford 11-7 on Thursday.

Harwick pitched six innings, allowing three runs on four hits with two strikeouts.

Trey Murray worked the seventh inning, giving up four runs on three hits with two walks.

Jarod Mattocks had a pair of doubles, two RBI and two runs scored for Troy, and he had seven putouts defensively, while Josh Mattocks had three hits, an RBI and a run scored.

Kyle Jackson had two hits and two RBI and Landis Zimmerman had two hits, two RBI and a run scored.

Kyle Schucker got his first varsity hit, and he had two RBI and two runs scored, and Harwick had a hit and scored a run.

Ryan Reeves had his first varsity hit, and he had an RBI and a run scored and Chance Lantz also had a hit for Troy, while Stanley Zimmerman scored two runs in the game for the Trojans.

Nic Geiser started for Northeast Bradford, going four innings, allowing four runs on six hits.

Geiser had three hits, with a double, and a run scored for the Panthers and Aaron Pifer had two hits, with a double, and three runs scored.

Dylan Saxon had two hits, with a double, and a run scored.

Jesse Stroud had a hit and a run scored and James Zajac and Dylan Chapman also had hits in the game.

The Panthers led for the first four innings, before Troy scored five runs in each the fifth and sixth innings.

Troy hosts Wyalusing today and the Panthers host Towanda.

Sullivan County 11, Millville 1, 5 innings

The Griffins scored three runs in the third, then added seven in the fourth to break open Thursday's game.

Sean Flannery had two hits, with an RBI and a run scored and Lucas Hatton scored two runs.

Kelby Mullen had an RBI and scored two runs, Zach Meyer had two hits, with a double, and four RBI and Tom Blasi had an RBI.

Barry Heinrich had a hit, a run scored and a stolen base, Colton Fry had a hit, a run scored and an RBI and Conner Wylie had two hits and scored two runs.

Jake Gavitt and Derek Farrell each had a hit, with Farrell scoring two runs.

Mullen struck out three, walked one and allowed one hit and one unearned run in three innings. Heinrich got the victory, striking otu one and allowing one hit in a scoreless inning of work.

Meyer struck out two, walked two and allowed no hits or runs in an inning on the mound.

The Griffins (3-3) have a doubleheader at CMVT on Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m.
