2014 Northeast Bradford vs. Sayre BaseballLERAYSVILLE - Northeast Bradford and Sayre combined for 16 runs in the first two innings, but in the end it was a five-run fifth inning that helped Northeast Bradford escape with a 15-14 win on Thursday.

NEB took a 15-9 lead into the sixth, but Sayre fought back with five runs in the sixth and seventh, before the Panthers were able to close it out for the win.

Garett Smith had an RBI and a steal for NEB and Tyler Emick had a hit, two runs and two steals.

Aaron Pifer had a hit, two runs and two steals and Nik Geiser had two hits, a double, two runs and three RBI.

Adam Ford had a hit and an RBI and Bryan Ford had a double, two RBI and three runs.

Hunter Condusta had a pair of hits and two runs and Brian Horton had a triple, two runs and two RBI.

Cody Clark had two hits and four RBI and Joby Leiser scored a run.

Geiser started on the mound, striking out none in 1 1/3 innings and Nate Chilson struck out two in 1 2/3 innings. Adam Ford struck out two in two innings to get the win, Leiser pitched an inning and Horton pitched an inning to get the save.

Matt Williams had three hits, with a bases-loaded triple, two runs and four RBI to lead Sayre and J.P. Harbst had a two-run home run, four RBI and two hits.

Jake Wheeler had three hits, two runs and a double for Sayre and John Esposito scored a run.

Cuyler Kochin and Derrick Keir each scored two runs and Mike Ward had a hit, run and RBI.

Marshall Felt started on the mound, striking out two in three innings. Esposito struck out two in two innings and Kochin struck out one in one inning.

Lansing 8, Waverly 6

The Wolverines got two hits each from Dylan Perry, Zach Saxon and Colton Miller, but it wasn't enough in a non-league game on Thursday.

Saxon had a double, an RBI and scored two runs and Perry had two hits, while Miller had two hits, a run and an RBI.

Peyton Miller had an RBI and Brendyn Stillman scored a run.

Collin Traub had a hit and a run and Alex Volpe had a hit and a run, while Alex Uhl added a hit and an RBI.

Traub struck out five in five innings and Uhl struck out one in two innings.

Owen Davis led Lansing with two doubles, four RBI and two runs and Josh Todd had two hits and three RBI.

Waverly is finished until sectional play next week.
