SAYRE -- Leading by two with runners on second and third and two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, it looked like Sayre was about to see their lead disappear.
Williamson's Chase Austin hit a shot down the left field line, but Jake Goodrich dove full out for the ball, hauling in the catch to seal the Redskins 3-1 win.
Matt Williams and Jordan Rockwell combined on the mound in the win. Williams struck out nine in four one-hit innings and Rockwell struck out three in three two-hit innings.
Sam Wheeler had two hits and scored a run and Nate Sweet had a hit.
Matt Williams had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Connor Hanafin had a hit and an RBI.
John Esposito had a hit and an RBI, James Esposito had a hit and scored a run and Chris Ray had a hit.
Matt Learn struck out three in the complete game for Williamson.
