NP-Mansfield tops Elk Lake.

North Penn-Mansfield started off their season with a 10-0 win over Elk Lake in five innings in non-league baseball action Monday.

The Tigers scored runs in four of five innings with four in the first, two in the second, three in the fourth and one in the fifth.

Eli Compton led the charge for NP-Mansfield, going 2-for-3 with a double and 2-RBI while Carl Dinger and Brendon Hill both went 2-for-3 as well. Dinger scored three times with 2-RBI while Hill crossed home twice.

Levi Adams added a double with 2-RBI.

On the mound, JP Shaw got the win, going four innings with nine strikeouts and no walks.

Logan Adams went the final inning with one walk and one strikeout.

The Tigers host Northern Potter today.
