Athens edges Lewisburg, 4-3, in 10 innings.

Marc Felt scored two runs, including the game-winner, and had two doubles to lead Athens to their 4-3, 10-inning win over Lewisburg in the Class AAAA, District IV semi-finals on Friday.

In the 10th inning, tied 3-3 with one out, Felt hit a double. After Justin Reagan sacrificed to move him to third, Felt scored on an error by Lewisburg's shortstop to win the game, 4-3.

Cody Jennings started the game for Athens. In five innings of work he allowed three runs, one earned, on six hits and struck out two while walking two. Matt Collins came on in relief and threw the next five innings. Collins allowed no runs on one hit and struck out six while walking two.

Kennedy finished with two hits and two RBI, Jennings added two hits and one RBI, Reagan finished with one run and two hits, Collins added one hit and an RBI, Cory Stivason, Joe Horn and Daniel Joyce each had one hit and Ethan Witherow scored a run for Athens.

Athens advances to the Class AAAA, District IV final against Mifflinburg (14-8) on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Penn State's Medlar Field.
