Athens shuts out WellsboroCody Jennings threw a one-hitter, striking out six, as the Athens Wildcats blanked Wellsboro 10-0 on Monday.

"Cody Jennings, my hat goes off to him, he pitched a whale of a game," Wellsboro coach Philip Prough said. "Really the storyline tonight. Going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the first inning. It really set the tone of the game."

Jennings had two hits, with the home run, two RBI and a run scored in the win.

Ryan Kennedy scored a run and Cory Stivason had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Marc Felt and Nate Kennedy scored runs and Daniel Joyce had two hits, with a double, and an RBI.

Matt Collins had a hit and scored a run and Joe Parshall scored a run.

Joe Horn had a hit and two RBI and Kaden Rude had a hit and scored a run, while Brock May scored a run.

Dalton Prough had Wellsboro's hit.

Johnny Rowland, Billy Lechler and Taynton Repard pitched for Wellsboro, combining to strike out eight.

Wellsboro is at Troy on Wednesday.

Mansfield 8, Towanda 1

The Tigers scored six runs in the fifth inning to break the game open.

Brendan Hill had two hits, with a run scored, and Kipp Hillson had a hit and scored two runs.

J.P. Shaw had a hit, two RBI and a run scored and Dylan Williamson had two hits, with a double, an RBI and a run scored.

Carl Dinger had two hits, with a double, an RBI and a run scored.

Joel Whitteker scored a run and Derrick Herbst had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Dylan Wesneski had a double and an RBI.

Keegan Kisner scored a run for Towanda and Lars Thomason had a hit, while Luke Tama had an RBI.

Tyler Bidlack had two hits and Ricky Smiley had a double, while Caleb Lines had a hit.

Dinger and Hillson combined on a five-hitter for Mansfield, striking out two. Troy PIerce, Tama, Kisner and Dakotah Manning combined to strike out five for Towanda.

Towanda is at Athens on Wednesday.

Canton 5, NEB 0

Byron Marnati, Michael Smithers and Seth Robbins combined to throw a four-hitter for Canton, striking out 11 in the win.

Brendon Landis had three hits and scored two runs and Silas Binford had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Smithers had a hit and two RBI and Marnati had a hit.

Jeremiah McClinton had an RBI and Kaden Martell and Ethan Landis scored runs.

Grant Allis had three hits for NEB, with a double, and Nate Watkins had a hit.

Tyler Devonshire and Nate Chilson pitched, striking out eight between them.

NEB is at CV on Wednesday.

Tioga 26, Odessa-Montour/Watkins Glen 1, 5 innings

Tioga scored 24 runs in the first three innings of the win.

Parker Hendershot was 4-for-5 with six RBI, two triples and three runs scored and Derek Barto was 4-for-5 with three runs and two RBI.

Gabe Martin had three hits, five RBI, four runs and a double and Justin Rockwell was 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBI.

Tyler Whitmore had two hits, with a triple, three runs and two RBI and Damon Rockwell had two hits and scored four runs.

Pierce Hendershot had two hits, two runs and three RBI and Mitchell Taylor, Hugh Singer and Nick Cotto had hits.

Damon Rockwell and Whitmore pitched, striking out seven and combining on a one-hitter.

Troy 5, Wyalusing 4

Down 3-2, the Trojans scored three runs in the top of the seventh to take the lead, and then held on for the win.

Clark Jackson led off the seventh with a hit, and with one out Matt LaBadie and Nate Martin drew walks to load the bases. Tyler Williams had a two-run single and Bailey Cohick's first varsity hit was the game winner.

In the bottom of the seventh, Wyalusing scored one run and had runners on first and second when LaBadie got the strikeout to close out the game.

Mason Bellows allowed three hits in six innings starting the game for Troy and LaBadie got the win striking out two in one inning.

Jackson had a hit and scored a run and Anthony Deitrick had a hit.

LaBadie had two hits and scored two runs and Martin had two hits and scored two runs.

Williams had a hit and two RBI and Kody Schucker had a hit.

Cohick had a hit and an RBI, and Mike Borden and Brandon Zechman had hits, and Zechman had an RBI.

Holdan had three hits, an RBI and a run scored and Riley God scored two runs. Kyle Warner had an RBI and Mike Wilcox had a hit.

Chandler Brown had a hit and an RBI and Shawn O'Dell scored a run.

Brown and Wilcox pitched, striking out seven between them.

Troy hosts Wellsboro on Wednesday.

Waverly 4, Edison 2

Dylan Cooney had three hits, with a double, a run scored and two RBI in the win.

Brendyn Stillman had a hit and scored a run and Bradey Roney had a hit.

Nate Bennett had a hit and two RBI and Hunter Bodine and Eithan McEnulty scored runs.

Grant Caplan had two hits.

Logan Peters had a triple for Edison and Adam Houghtaling had two hits.

Roney threw six innings, striking out eight. Tyler Croft and Stillman each pitched in relief, striking out three for Waverly.

Sayre 15, Williamson 0, 3 innings

Nate Sweet and James Esposito allowed one hit in the three innings.

Sam Wheeler had three hits, with a double, two RBI and three runs scored and Sweet had two hits, with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.

Matt Williams had two hits, with a double, three RBI and a run scored and Jon Cron had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Connor Hanafin had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored and Quinn Hanafin had two hits, a double, three RBI and a run scored.

Jordan Rockwell had a hit and scored a run and John Esposito had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Chris Ray had a hit and scored two runs.

Hunter Sackett had a double for Williamson.

CMVT 12, Sullivan County 8

The Griffins got five runs in the first inning, but it wasn't enough in the loss.

Lucas Schultz had a first-inning home run for the Griffins in the game.
