Cowanesque Valley edges Towanda, 10-8.

Cowanesque Valley edges Towanda, 10-8Chris Lingle had two hits, including a double and three RBI to lead CV to their 10-8 win over Towanda on Monday.

Seth Huyler started for CV and threw three innings, striking out three and allowing three runs. Jace Bieser relieved him and pitched two and one third innings, allowing two runs and striking out two. Caleb Fitzwater finished the game and struck out one batter.

Caleb Fitzwater had three hits and two RBI for CV, Wynn Doan added two hits, including a double, Bieser finished with a double and a triple and Huyler had one RBI.

For Towanda, Lars Thomason started the game and threw three innings, striking out two and allowing five runs, three earned, on five hits. Luke Tama relieved him and threw one inning, striking out one and allowing three runs, none earned, on two hits. Keegan Kisner pitched the last three innings and struck out three batters while allowing two runs, none earned, on two hits.

Troy Pierce had two hits, including a double, and three runs for Towanda, Thomason finished with three hits, including a double, two runs and three RBI; Ryan Bartholomew had a double and two RBI; Tyler Bidlack finished with a run, a hit and an RBI; Caleb Lines had a hit and a run; Rickey Smiley and Luke Tama each had a hit and an RBI; and Zane Neubert had two hits.

Canton 9, Wyalusing 7

Jeremiah McClinton had three hits, including one double, a run and two RBI to lead Canton to their 9-7 victory over Wyalusing on Monday.

For Canton, Brendon Landis had one hit and two RBI; Ethan Landis added two runs; Silas Binford had one run; Kaden Martell finished with one run and one hit; Garrett Storch and Byron Marnati each had one run; Seth Robbins had one RBI; Nate Deegan added one run, one hit and one RBI; and Dylan Wilcox had one run, one hit and two RBI.

Brendon Landis started the game for Canton. He threw one inning, allowing six runs, five earned and striking out one. Robbins relieved him for six innings, allowing one run and striking out seven.

For Wyalusing, Shane Fuhrey had two runs, one hit and one RBI; Joe Wheeler finished with one run and one hit; Holdan Hitchcock added an RBI; Riley God had one RBI; Kyle Warner had a hit and two RBI; Zach Bryun had one hit; Mike Wilcox finished with one run and one hit; and Chandler Brown had two runs, and two hits, including a double.

Hitchcock started the game for Wyalusing, allowing four runs, three earned on four hits and striking out two in six and one third innings. Kyle Warner relieved him and allowed four runs on one hit. Mason McGroaty finished the last two thirds of one inning, allowing one run on two hits.

Tioga 27, Candor 2

Parker Hendershot finished with two runs, three hits and six RBI to lead Tioga to their 27-2 win over Candor on Monday.

For Tioga, Pierce Hendershot had three runs, one hit and one RBI; Damon Rockwell finished with four runs, three hits and five RBI; Mitchell Taylor had two runs and one hit; Gabe Martin finished with one runs, one hit and two RBI; Tyler Whitmore finished with three runs, three hits and two RBI; Justin Rockwell added two runs, two hits and two RBI; Nick Klossner had two runs, two hits and one RBI; Hugh Singer finished with one run, one hit and one RBI; Nick Cotto had four runs, one hit and two RBI; and Derrick Barto finished with three runs, three hits and four RBI.

Rockwell pitched the first three innings, striking out three and allowing two runs on three hits. Barto finished the last three innings, striking out four and allowing no runs.

NP-Mansfield 12, NEB 1

Joel Whitteker had two runs, one hit, two RBI on offense and threw five innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out two to lead NPM to their 12-1 victory over NEB on Monday.

For NPM, Brendan Hill had one hit and one RBI; Kipp Hilson finished with one run and two hits; J.P. Shaw had two runs and one hit; Dylan Williamson added one RBI; Nathan Mahonski finished with one run; Carl Dinger added two runs, two hits and two RBI; Derrick Herbst added three runs, two hits and one RBI; Dewey Wise had one run; and Dylan Wesneski finished with two hits and three RBI.

For NEB, Tyler Devonshire started and threw two innings, allowing two runs, one earned, and striking out two. Nate Chilson relieved him for two innings, allowing six runs, five earned; and Grant Allis pitched the last one and one third innings, allowing four runs, two earned, and striking out two.

Roland Phytila and Nate Watkins each had one hit and Derrick Newman had a run, an RBI and a home run.

Waverly 10, Notre Dame 3

Bradey Roney finished with two runs, two hits, including a double, and four RBI to lead Waverly to their 10-3 win over Notre Dame on Monday.

For Waverly, Dylan Cooney had two runs and a hit; Brendyn Stillman had two runs; Zach VanHouten had two runs, a hit and an RBI; Nate Bennett added two hits and three RBI; Hunter Bodine finished with one run, one hit and one RBI; Eithan McEnulty added one hit; Grant Caplan had an RBI and Paul Girolamo had one run.

Roney pitched a complete game, allowing three runs, none earned, on three hits and striking out five.

For ND, Garry Raupers finished with two RBI; Matt Smith had one run and one hit; Nate Snavely finished with one hit and one RBI; Hunter Homerda had one run and one hit; and Iman McKay finished with one run.

Homerda started the game for ND and threw six innings. He struck out four batters and allowed nine runs on seven hits. Ryess Youmans relieved him for the last inning and allowed one run.

Williamson 8, Wellsboro 1

Chase Austin threw a complete game for Williamson, striking out seven and allowing one run on one hit to lead Williamson to their 8-1 victory over Wellsboro on Monday.

Hunter Sackett finished with one run and two stolen bases for Williamson. Brock Sackett had two runs, one hit and one stolen base. Jared Stermer finished with two runs, two hits, two stolen bases and one RBI. Austin had one run, one hit and two RBI; Brandon Enck finished with one run, three doubles and three RBI; and Tyler Andreason had one run, one hit and one RBI.

For Wellsboro, Carson Davis had the team's lone hit and Johnny Rowland had a stolen base and a run scored.
