NEB's Nick Vrabel did something that's hard to do in baseball on Tuesday.

He was perfect.

On 65 pitches Vrabel struck out 11 batters as NEB defeated Sugar Valley Rural Charter 14-0 in 5 innings to get a non-league baseball win.

"It speaks for itself," Panther coach Brian Pifer said. "He threw strikes, he was ahead in the count. It's a good confidence builder for Nick. He's worked hard and he got the results tonight."

He was also pretty good at the plate, too, with four hits, including two doubles, two runs scored and 4-RBI.

Grant Allis added two hits, including a double, with two runs and an RBI.

Max Cooper had a triple with Spencer Jackson, Tyler Devonshire, and Clayton Connor also getting hits.

Crown scored twice with Jackson, Devonshire, Connor, Cooper, Owen Maryott, Luke Tice and Braeden Frisbie also crossed home.

Devonshire knocked in two runs with Jackson, Crown, Collin Allis, Connor and Cooper also getting an RBI each.
