Canton baseball tops NEB.

The Canton Warriors notched an 11-1 win in five innings over Northeast Bradford in baseball action on Wednesday.

Garrett Wesneski, Kyle Jandis, Jacob Barrett and John Bowman combined on a one-hitter, striking out five between them.

Josiah Bardo had a double and scored two runs for Canton and Landis had two hits, two RBI and a run scored.

Chase Pepper scored two runs, Connor Route had two hits, a run scored, an RBI and stole two bases and Emmett Watson had two hits, two stolen bases and he scored a run.

Wes Moore had a hit and scored two runs, Tanner Machmer had a two-run home run and he scored a pair of runs in the game and Jacob Butcher had a hit and an RBI, while Wesneski had an RBI.

Jamez Zajac had a hit for the Panthers and scored their run and he started on the mound for Northeast Bradford.

Canton is at Wyalusing on Friday.

Neumann 6, Sullivan 5 (8 innings)

Neumann took a 4-0 lead after two innings, but the Griffins came back, getting three runs in the sixth and a run in the seventh to force extra innings.

However, Neumann got a run in the eighth to escape with the win.

Barry Heinrich had a 4-for-4 day for the Griffins with a home run, three RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases.

Zach Meyer and Kelby Mullen each had two hits, with Meyer getting a double, two RBI and a run scored, and Mullen scoring two runs.

Sean Flannery had a hit and scored a run in the game.

Henrich started for the Griffins, while Mullen and Meyer also pitched. The three combined to allow 10 hits, three walks and strike out five.

Ryan Reid struck out 12 and walked four for Neumann and he and Nick Greico each had two hits in the win.

The Griffins are at Muncy today.
