Athens' Forbes NTL Player of the Year.

After helping to lead the Athens Wildcats to their second-straight NTL, Division I title the NTL coaches named Tyler Forbes player of the year.

Forbes hit .450 on the year and had a 1.59 ERA on the mound with 60 strikeouts to be the NTL coaches' player of the year.

Canton's John Bowman struck out 80 in 46 2/3 innings allowing just five earned runs with a 7-2 record and he is the pitcher of the year.

Brendon Hitchcock and the Athens coaching staff is the coaching staff of the year.

Along with Forbes and Bowman, the first team includes Athens' Zane Vargason and Troy's Kyle Schucker.

Cowanesque Valley's Tyler Melko is on the first team along with Wellsboro's Dawson Prough and Towanda's Nick Place.

Mansfield's Bryce Zaparzynski and Jarrod Burd are each on the first team along with Troy's Jarod Mattocks and Brandon Mattocks.

Canton's Tyler Butcher is on the first team along with Sayre's Matt Williams, Canton's Trevor Route and Athens' Luke Newman.

The second team includes Athens' Sam Perri and Wyalusing's Holdan Hitchcock.

Jake Wheeler of Sayre is on the second team along with Troy's Tyler Cole and Northeast Bradford's Brian Horton.

Troy's Isaac Havens and Kyle Jackson are on the second team along with Nick Vosburg of Athens.

Jordan Rockwell and Nate Sweet of Sayre are on the second team along with Athens' Cody Jennings.

Mansfield's J.P. Shaw, Nick Levindoski of Wellsboro and Bryce Cole of Canton are all second-team picks.
