Canton hits well in win over Wyalusing.

2015 Canton vs. Wyalusing BaseballCANTON - Canton pounded out 11 hits as they beat Wyalusing 11-1 in NTL baseball action Wednesday.

Tyler Cole went 3-for-4 with 4-RBI and a run scored while Travis Butcher (2-for-2), Trevor Route (2-for-3) and Mason Martell (2-for-2) also had multiple hits on the day.

Clayton Tymeson and Brendon Landis also had hits.

Butcher scored three times, Martell, Bryce Cole and Tymeson crossed home twice while Route and Cole also scored.

Route had 2-RBI with Martel also knocking a run in.

Bowman started and went three innings with four strikeouts while Landis pitched the fourth with two strikeouts.

Mason Moore finished out with one strikeout, three walks and one run in an inning of work.

Holdan Hitchcock and Dylan Otis had a hit each for Wyalusing.

Otis started while Chandler Brown came on in relief as they combined for one strikeout.

Canton will host Sayre Friday.
