Levindoski leads Wellsboro past Canton.

2015 Wyalusing vs. Sayre BaseballThe Green Hornets turned the tables on Canton in their NTL baseball win Monday.

Tied 2-2 in the top of the sixth Nick Levindoski hit a 2-run single to put Wellsboro up 4-2, which proved to be the crucial play of the game in the 4-3 Hornet win.

Canton would get a run back in the bottom half of the inning but couldn't get the tying run this time around.

Last week it was the Warriors rallying from a 2-1 deficit to win 7-2 in extra innings. Canton's four pitchers gave up nine walks and hit five batters in the contest.

Levindoski had two hits in the game while Brett Kendrick had a hit with two runs scored. Dawson Prough walked three times with a run scored.

Kendrick started but failed to get out of the first inning as Sam Moss came on in relief. He went the next five and earned the win with Joe Allen finishing up.

All three combined for three strikeouts.

Bryce Cole and John Bowman both had doubles for Canton's two hits while Cole knocked in a run. Travis Butcher added two runs scored.

Clayton Tymeson started and went the first two innings while Cole pitched the third. Brendon Landis saw action in the third and fourth before Bowman came on in relief.

Bowman pitched the final three innings and earned the loss.

Warrior pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts.

Canton is at Wyalusing Wednesday while Wellsboro hosts Williamson.

Troy 15, Northeast Bradford 5, 6 innings

LERAYSVILLE - Troy pounded out 17 hits as they picked up the NTL baseball win Monday.

Brandon Mattocks, Kyle Jackson (3-for-4), Kyle Schucker (3-for-3) and Dane Smith (3-for-4) all had three-hit games on the day.

Mattocks' included a double, RBI and four runs, Jackson had a run scored, double and 3-RBI, Schucker had a double and scored twice while Smith had a double, run scored and an RBI.

Jarod Mattocks (2-for-5) and Isaac Havens (2-for-5) also had multiple hits in the game. Mattocks' included three runs and 2-RBI while Havens had a double, run scored and 3-RBI.

Mitchell Morse (1-for-3) added a run scored and an RBI with Brock Schucker and Colin Binford each scoring a run. Binford also had an RBI.

Jackson started and earned the win, striking out four in three innings while allowing four walks, two hits and one run.

Chance Lantz pitched the next two innings, striking out two while allowing two walks and two runs.

Havens threw the final inning with two walks, one hit and two runs allowed.

Bryan Ford went 2-for-3 to lead NEB with a double, run scored and an RBI. Tyler Emick and Aaron Pifer both had hits as well. Emick, Pifer and Dave Ford all scored while Emick added an RBI.

Brian Horton started and went into the second inning. He allowing one walk, six hits and five unearned runs in the loss.

Nate Watkins pitched an inning, striking out one while allowing one walk, two hits and two runs.

Bryan Ford, Joby Lieser, Nate Chilson and Roland Phytila also saw action on the mound.

The Panthers will travel to Mansfield Wednesday with Troy hosting Sayre.

Wyalusing 8, Sayre 4

A late inning surge from the Rams gave them the NTL baseball win Monday.

Sayre was up 3-2 after the second inning, then made it 4-2 after the fourth.

Wyalusing's rally began in the sixth with four runs, then they added two more in the seventh for the victory.

Holdan Hitchcock (2-for-3), Ridge Williams (2-for-5) and Dawson Otis (2-for-4) all had multiple hit games. Hitchcock's included a double with a run scored.

Jon Morrison and Kyle Tinna both added doubles while Dylan Otis had a hit as well.

Isaac Bennett, Tinna, Mike Wilcox and Chandler Brown scored runs with Riley God crossing home twice.

Bennett started while Brown and Tinna came on in relief with Tinna getting the win. They combined for 11 strikeouts and two walks.

Connor Hanafin led Sayre, going 3-for-4 with a run scored while Jordan Rockwell was 2-for-4 with a double. Jake Wheeler, Matt Williams, JP Harbst and Sam Wheeler also had hits.

Jake Wheeler, Marshall Felt and Jake Goodrich all scored.

Rockwell scored the loss, striking out 11 while walking 10.

Athens 10, Cowanesque Valley 0

The Wildcats had 10 hits as a team with their NTL baseball win Monday.

Luke Newman led the way, going 3-for-3 with a home run, double, 5-RBI and two runs scored.

Sam Perri (2-for-4) and Cody Jennings (2-for-3) also had multiple hits in the game.

Tyler Forbes and Zane Vargason each had a double while Matt Collins had a hit as well.

Vargason and Forbes had 2-RBI each with Perri knocking in a run. Nick Vosburg scored three times, Forbes twice with Vargason, Ben Rubert and Jennings also crossing home.

Vargason started and went one inning for the win, striking out one with one walk and a hit.

Jennings pitched the next three innings, striking out three while allowing two hits.

Joe Horn finished out, striking out six while allowing three walks.

For the Indians Colton Vinluan had a double while Jace Bieser and Tyler Melko also had hits.

Chris Lingle scored the loss, striking out two while allowing five hits, one earned run and one walk in four innings of work.

Melko went the final three innings, striking out two while allowing five hits, seven earned runs and three walks.

Mansfield 13, Northern Potter 3, 5 innings

The Tigers improved to 2-0 on the season with a win in non-league baseball action Monday.

Jarrod Burd led the way, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, 3-RBI and three runs scored while Nathan Tice was 2-for-3 with a double, run scored and an RBI.

Bryce Zaparzynski (2-for-4) and Rylen Whitmyer (2-for-4) also had multi-hit games. Joel Whittaker, Carl Dinger, Levi Adams, Zach Kriner and Kipper Hillson had hits as well.

Zaparzynski knocked in three runs while Whitmyer brought in two. Kriner and Hillson both had an RBI as well.

Whittaker and Dinger both scored twice with Zaparzynski, J.P. Shaw, Whitmyer, Adams and Kriner also crossing home.

Burd started and earns the win, striking out five while allowing two hits, two earned runs and two walks.

Adams finished out, striking out eight while allowing three hits and two earned runs.
