Troy baseball falls to Montoursville.

2015 Troy vs. Montoursville BaseballEAST TROY - The Troy Trojans fell to Montoursville 11-2 in a nonleague baseball game on Thursday.

With the loss the Trojans finish the regular season at 15-5 and will await district seeds. They will host a first-round district game.

Brandon Mattocks had three hits for Troy, with an RBI and Jarod Mattocks and Isaac Havens each had hits.

Kyle Schucker had a double and Chance Lantz and Andre Clark each had a hit and scored a run.

Curtis Miller, Dylan Fontenot and Brycen Mussina had two hits each for Montoursville, with Mussina scoring three runs.

Kyle Jackson struck out two in four innings for Troy and Havens struck out two in an inning. Kyle Schucker struck out one and Mitchell Morse also pitched for Troy.

Trumansburg 7, Tioga 1

ELMIRA, N.Y. - Trevor Rumsey threw a two-hit shutout for Trumansburg in the IAC Small-School Baseball Championship game on Thursday.

Jesse Manuel had a double and scored a run for Tioga in the game and Parker Hendershot had a triple for the Tigers.

Peter Simmons pitched for Tioga striking out 11 in the loss. Between the third and fourth innings Simmons struck out five straight for the Tigers.

Athens 10, Tunkhannock 9

The Wildcats got a pair of doubles from Tyler Forbes and he pitched two scoreless innings in the win on Thursday.

Forbes had two doubles, a run scored and two RBI and Zane Vargason had three hits with two runs scored.

Luke Newman had four RBI and scored a run for the Wildcats.

Nick Vosburg had three hits, an RBI and scored two runs for Athens and Sam Perri had a hit and scored two runs.

Ben Rubert had a hit and an RBI and Cody Jennings had two hits.

Matt Collins and Marc Felt each had a hit and scored a run.

Forbes struck out three in two innings of two-hit ball.

Collins struck out two in 2 1/3 innings and Felt struck out two in 2 2/3 innings on the mound.
