Wyalusing baseball edges CantonThe Wyalusing baseball team edged Canton 5-4 on Wednesday.

The Rams led 4-1 after two innings, but Canton scored three in the third to tie it, before Wyalusing took the lead back in the fifth inning.

Riley God had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored and Holdan Hitchcock had a hit.

Isaac Bennett had a hit and scored a run and Ridge Williams, Chandler Brown and Eli Bennett had hits.

Brandon Brown scored a run and Jon Morrison had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Hitchcock struck out one in the complete-game win.

Jeremiah McClinton had three hits, with a double and scored two runs for Canton and Bryce Cole had two hits and an RBI.

Brendon landis had a hit and scored a run and Mason Martell and Seth Robbins had hits. Robbins scored a run.

Martell, Taylor Acla and Michael Smithers pitched, striking out seven.

Mansfield 11, NEB 0

LERAYSVILLE — J.P. Shaw threw a one-hitter with nine strikeouts in the win.

Brendan Hill had three hits, with an RBI and two runs scored and Shaw had three hits, with a double and Eli Compton scored two runs.

Kipp Hillson scored two runs for Mansfield and Dylan Wesneski had a hit, two RBI and a run scored.

Carl Dinger had a double and an RBI and Levi Adams had two hits, two RBI and a run scored.

Dylan Williamson had a hit and an RBI, Logan Adams scored a run and Dewey Wise had a double and a run scored.

Joel Whitteker had a hit, two RBI and a run scored.

Garret Smith had NEB's hit and Nate Watkins, Grant Allis and Nate Chilson pitched for Northeast Bradford.

NEB plays Neumann at Bowman Field today.

Wellsboro 8, Williamson 7

Dawson Prough was 4-for-4 with three doubles, three runs and three RBI to lead the Green Hornets.

Dalton Prough had two hits, two runs and an RBI and Larry Walters had two hits and scored two runs.

Nick Tremper, Joe AllenJames Mundy and Parker Mann had hits for Wellsboro and Allen had an RBI.

Johnny Rowland and Mundy threw for Wellsboro, striking out five.

Jake Rice had three hits, with a double, and scored three runs and Matt Learn had two hits and scored two runs.

Jon Daley had a hit and scored a run, Chase Austin had a hit and two RBI, Wyatt Gorg had a hit, Jared Stermer had an RBI and Hunter Sackett scored a run.

Austin struck out five in the complete game on the mound.

CV 6, Towanda 3

The Indians scored four runs in the fifth to rally for the win.

Colton Vinluan had a double and a run scored and Matt Freeman had a double and scored a run.

Tyler Melko had a hit and scored twice and Chris Lingle scored a run.

Jace Bieser had a hit, Corey Wells scored a run, Nevin Stiles and Connor Calaman had RBI and Wynn Doan had a hit and an RBI.

Stiles struck out three in the complete game for CV.

Shane Martin had two hits and two RBI for Towanda and Ricky Smiley and Caleb Lines each had hits and scored runs. Brett Crispell also scored for Towanda.

Martin and Lines pitched for Towanda, Martin struck out two in 4 1/3 innings.

Towanda is at Sayre on Friday in a non-league game.

Edison 17, Notre Dame 3

The Crusaders fell to Edison in a playoff for the division title.

It was a 3-2 game after four, before Edison scored nine in the fifth, with every starter scoring in the inning.

Gary Raupers had a double for Notre Dame and Ben Cook had a hit and scored a run.

Matt LaBadie had a hit and scored a run, Matt Smith had a hit and scored a run and Nate Snavely had a hit.
