Troy takes down Williamson, 11-1.

Matt LaBadie and Clark Jackson combined to throw a one-run no-hitter, striking out nine and walking two, to lead Troy to their five inning, 11-1 win over Williamson on Thursday.

For Troy, Ja Wallace and Kody Schucker each had one run and one hit, Anthony Dietrick added two runs, one hit and two RBI, Jackson had one hit and two RBI, Nate Martin scored three runs and had two hits, LaBadie finished with one run, two hits and two RBI, Michael Borden had one run, a double and an RBI, Bailey Cohick finished with one run, two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Nick Colton scored a run.

For Williamson, Brock Sackett scored the team's lone run.

Chase Austin started the game for Williamson; in two and two thirds innings of work he allowed six runs, five earned, on seven hits and struck out one. Jared Stermer finished the game for Williamson; in one and one third innings of work he allowed five earned runs on four hits and walked three batters.

Troy takes on Shamokin at home at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Sayre 14, NEB 2, 5 innings

Jordan Rockwell scored three runs, had two hits, including a double, two RBI and pitched four innings of hitless ball, striking out seven and allowing one unearned run to lead Sayre to their five inning, 14-2 win over NEB on Thursday.

For Sayre, Matt Williams finished with two runs and one hit, Nate Sweet added three hits and three RBI and Isaiah Firestine scored three runs and stole three bases. Connor Hanafin had a triple and an RBI, Quinn Hanafin finished with two runs, one hit and an RBI, Sam Wheeler added two runs, two hits and one RBI and John Esposito had one run, two hits and two RBI. Jake Goodrich finished with one run, two hits and one RBI.

James Esposito pitched the final inning for Sayre, allowing one earned run on two hits.

For NEB, Tyler Emick scored a run, Grant Allis finished with a run and a hit, and Max Cooper added a double and an RBI.

Tyler Devonshire started the game for NEB and took the loss. In one third of an inning of work he allowed four runs, three earned on two hits. Nate Chilson relieved him for two thirds of an inning, allowing no runs on one hit and striking out one. Cooper pitched the next inning, allowing five earned runs on six hits and striking out one. Clayton Connor relieved him and pitched the next two thirds of one inning, allowing five earned runs on three hits and striking out one. Allis pitched the next third of an inning, allowing no runs on two hits. Roland Phytila pitched the final inning, allowing no runs or hits and striking out one.
