"Being the first time our full team has been on the field, I'm very pleased with our performance. Especially our pitching," said head coach Philip Prough. "We had good control and composure. Offensively, not only did we collect a lot of hits, we hit the ball hard which is a promising sign."

With the win, the Hornets are now 1-0 on the year. The team will be back in action on Monday, April 8 as they host Mansfield.
